Stream Clean-up

The City of Griffin Stormwater Department hosts a large scale stream cleanup each year!  This event spans across Griffin, impacting up 15 different stream locations and with participation from over 150 people each year.  Our Stream Cleanup is a registered event with the Georgia Rivers Alive program, where the trash collected and community impact are recorded and celebrated.

The Stream Cleanup takes place in the fall, with registration starting in September.   If you or a citizen group would like to hold a separate Rivers Alive cleanup event in Spalding County or you would like to participate in the City Stream Cleanup, Please contact Alexa Robinson at 770-229-6424 or arobinson@cityofgriffin.com
