Make a Difference Day, held annually in October, is the largest national day of helping others - a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. Created by USA WEEKEND Magazine, Make A Difference Day is an annual event that takes place on the fourth Saturday of every October.
This year, the City of Griffin Environmental Council is asking residents to “take pride and take care” of their City by improving their neighborhoods during a citywide cleanup on October 25 th . This can be as simple as cleaning your yard, walking your street and picking up litter, or helping an elder neighbor with maintenance. To help with cleanup efforts, the city will place large trash bins across the city that weekend. The key is to make a difference in your part of Griffin that weekend.
