Downtown Development Authority

The Griffin Downtown Development Authority is responsible for the revitalization strategy for Downtown Griffin.  The DDA’s mission is to encourage economic activity in Griffin’s central business district by attracting businesses, residents, and visitors.  The DDA attracts private investment to Downtown Griffin through public grants, loans, transportation funds, and tax incentive programs.  The DDA works closely with the Planning & Development Services Department and the Main Street Program in assisting new businesses through the permitting process.
