The City of Griffin Geographical Information System (GIS) division was added in 1998 as a means to collect and manage the City of Griffin's infrastructure data through the use of GPS and mapping software.


Control Point Monument Network

The GIS Division maintains network of monuments created for the purpose of providing geodectic reference for mapping and engineering applications. All monuments have a stability rating of "B" and were last inspected and recovered in 2015.

The GIS Division maintains a digital database of files in both Arcview Shapes and Geodatabase format. The data can be clipped to an area of interest and purchased. Review the links below for our data list as well as our coverage grid map.

Map Printouts
In office print outs of 8 1/2"x11" and 11"x17" are available at no charge to our customers. We also offer printed maps up to 36"x36" for $10 each.
