The Environmental Council is a volunteer-based advisory body that provides the Board of Commissioners with recommendations on policies and procedures that ultimately preserve and protect Griffin’s natural resources for future generations.
This group reviews local tree removal requests, makes decisions on local environmental issues, conducts environmental education events and develops and promotes environmental and community improvement projects.
The council meetings are every 2nd Thursday of the month in the City Manager’s Conference Room and anyone is invited to attend.
100 S Hill Street, Griffin Ga 30224 City Manager’s conference room from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm every second Thursday of the month.
