The City of Griffin partners with the Griffin Downtown Council and Griffin Main Street Program to host 2nd Saturday events to support small businesses. The monthly events encourage locals, and those from surrounding communities, to shop, dine, and explore all Downtown Griffin has to offer while enjoying themed activities, live music, and more! It's time to celebrate all things May’d In Griffin! Join us downtown for 2nd Saturday, May 13th, as we showcase everything that makes Griffin a great place to live, work, and play. The City of Griffin has partnered with the Griffin-Spalding Chamber of Commerce and the Griffin-Spalding County Partners In Education to host activities throughout the day to highlight unique products, people, music, art, education, and businesses made right here in Griffin. Along with a Cornhole Tournament fundraiser to benefit teachers and students in our community, live performances by local children in the arts, and the start of the Georgia Grown Downtown Market.
