HRThe Human Resources Department consists of team members who provide a wide variety of services for the City of Griffin workforce, to include but not limited to, providing information and support in such areas as compensation, benefits, safety, training and employee relations.

Mission

The mission of the Department of Human Resources is to lead the City of Griffin’s innovative human resource systems by recruiting, developing, retaining, and rewarding a talented and diverse workforce balancing the needs of the City and the employees to ensure the best service to the citizens.

The vision statement for the Department of Human Resources is to have a culture of service to employees that is responsive, that communication is open and transparent, and that employee needs are addressed with uniformity and sensitivity.
