2nd Saturday June Jam Beach Party

We're bringing the beach to Downtown Griffin, sand included!
Join us for the 2nd Saturday June Jam Beach Party, a free all-day event, on June 10, 2023, in Downtown Griffin. Starting at 10am, enjoy event specials at participating boutiques before hitting the sand with your beach chair to enjoy live music from 5pm to 11pm! That's right, 60+ tons of sand will be dumped on Solomon Street, in front of Imperial Theatre Park, with beach volleyball, food trucks, and more for the ultimate kick-off to summer!
The Griffin Downtown Council will offer VIP tables, including linens and reserved seating for eight, starting May 15, 2023. Call 770-228-5356 for more information. If you are buying a VIP table, we encourage you to decorate it with a beach theme for a chance to win awesome prizes!
The public parking deck on Solomon Street is reserved in case of rain. Please use public and street parking for the event on Hill, 6th, Broad, and West Solomon Street.
The City of Griffin partners with the Griffin Downtown Council and Griffin Main Street Program to host 2nd Saturday events to support small businesses. The monthly events encourage locals, and those from surrounding communities, to shop, dine, and explore all Downtown Griffin has to offer while enjoying themed activities, live music, and more!
