The Annual Stream Cleanup is a long celebrated community event that brings together the citizens of Griffin-Spalding County to make their county a better (and cleaner!) place. Individuals and groups that register will be assigned one of 14 stream locations. Volunteers and participants will start at Historic City Hall for a safety talk and sign-in, then head to their stream with their group. Volunteers will need to provide their own transportation to and from stream sites. After removing and disposing of the trash from our local waterways, the volunteers will head back to Historic City Hall for lunch, group photo, door prizes, and congratulations on a job well done!
